Executive Summary

Shine Together is an organization dedicated to empowering young mothers, ages 12-25, through education, life skills, parenting support, and career development. Our mission is to break the cycle of poverty by equipping young mothers with the tools they need to build a stable future for themselves and their children.

We offer comprehensive programs that include educational support, life skills development, and career readiness, with a strong focus on parenting support and Mommy and Me classes. These initiatives help young mothers complete high school, pursue college and career goals, and strengthen the bond with their children—making a difference two generations at a time.

Our impact is reflected in the increased high school and college graduation rates among our participants, as well as their successful transitions into meaningful careers. We are guided by our core values of empowerment, community, and equity, addressing the systemic barriers young mothers face and providing them with the resources and support necessary for success.

As we look to the future, Shine Together remains committed to expanding our reach and deepening our impact. We continue to focus on fostering resilience and independence in young mothers, ensuring they have the support needed to create a bright future for themselves and their children.
