Executive Summary
Wise MedTech Ventures (WMTV) will partner with Texas Medical Center (TMC) Innovation to create the TMC Healthcare Startup Studio. The Studio will be built on the foundation of the community, resources, and space within TMC Innovation, based on its track record of successfully launching new healthcare companies, combined with WMTV's experience and access to a diverse network of women in the field. The goal of the partnership is to identify a diverse annual cohort of women who are looking to realize their healthcare ideas and give them access to a studio that will empower them to become entrepreneurs. This unique startup studio will open doors for diverse communities of women to successfully participate in forming and leading cutting-edge medtech companies. In addition, their work will benefit patients everywhere by providing solutions to some of the most important unmet needs in healthcare.
