"'Frozen Middle' to Influencers: Fast-tracking Women of Color into the C-Suite," brings together the synergy of Catalyst—the global nonprofit working with some of the world’s most powerful CEOs and corporations to build “workplaces that work for women”—with one of our most trusted long-term partners, Diversity Woman Media, a multiplatform hub tailored to Women of Color aiming for the C-suite. These are women for whom the C-suite ceiling needs to be opened twice-over: for gender and ethnicity.
Our fast-track program aims to shift the paradigm: working with corporations nationwide, we will prepare 5,000 Women of Color in middle management who are unseen, overlooked, or undervalued in executive ranks to move into C-suite leadership. We will simultaneously train 10,000 of their C-suite leadership to move workplaces from tokenism to genuine power-sharing and sustainable influence. Transforming workplaces will scale well beyond the corporate sector: positioning Women of Color as thought-leaders, driving innovation, redefining success, and increasing Women of Color role-models.
