Executive Summary
Lack of access to LTP materials increases inequity. Although schools and families make an effort to buy materials, the materials usually have a short life span and 80% end up in the dumpster.
Toynovo´s circular and collaborative economy model matches the supply and demand of LTP materials. The lifespans of materials are extended and recirculated consistently, assuring cost-effectiveness. Schools and families can barter, sell used, rent (generating income for families), or donate unused materials.
Toynovo will reach five million vulnerable young children in Colombia, Mexico, and Brazil with more access to LTP materials and play inspirations through a network of foundations, schools and families.
