Managing Director, Awards and Social Impact

Jenna is the Managing Director, Awards and Social Impact at Lever for Change, a nonprofit affiliate of the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation. In her role, Jenna leads the programmatic initiatives and teams at Lever for Change. This includes supporting high-impact organizations in the Bold Solutions Network, as well as guiding donor partners on the design and management of their sponsored open call. In her time at Lever for Change, Jenna has led the LEGO Foundation’s Build a World of Play Challenge, the Equality Can’t Wait Challenge, W.K. Kellogg Foundation’s Racial Equity 2030 Challenge, and Lyda Hill Philanthropies’ Lone Star Prize.

Prior to joining Lever for Change, Jenna was an Assistant Account Manager at Social Strategy Associates, where she worked with individuals, foundations and nonprofits to design and implement strategic philanthropy and other social impact programs. Prior to consulting, Jenna was a Program Officer at Beespace, New York’s first start-up nonprofit incubator. Earlier in her career, Jenna worked in politics in Iowa, serving as a fellow in President Obama’s 2012 Presidential Campaign.

Jenna is a graduate of Central College with a B.A. in Political Science and Communication Studies.
