As an Awards Associate at Lever for Change, Hiba supports all aspects of customized competitions by reviewing and analyzing proposals, conducting data analysis, and providing ongoing support to donor partners and finalist teams.

Prior to Lever for Change, Hiba served as a Climate Risk and Decarbonization Consultant at Ernst and Young focused on carbon reduction planning for government & public sector clients that advances climate action priorities for historically marginalized populations. Previously, she has held positions at Intel Corporation supporting market development for the IoT Smart Cities and Transportation group, and Illinois Ventures supporting due diligence for healthcare and technology startups.

Hiba earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Information Systems and a minor in Sustainability, Energy, and the Environment from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Outside of work, she volunteers with a Chicago-based bail fund to provide no-bond support for community members who are incarcerated, such as language classes, court support, and letter-writing programs.
