Vice President, Philanthropy

As Vice President of Philanthropy, Dana leads a team that identifies, qualifies, cultivates, and stewards relationships with donors who are interested in engaging with Lever for Change. In her role, she provides expert advice and services to donors, whatever their interests, philanthropic experience, or staff level, to connect them to high-impact philanthropic investment opportunities. Dana works directly with donors and also engages with the wealth and philanthropic advisors that support many donors.

Just prior to joining MacArthur in June 2018, Dana was a Managing Director at Opportunity International leading global communications and institutional development efforts. Before that, Dana created and led the corporate social responsibility program for GCM Grosvenor, a global financial services firm. Early in her career, Dana practiced law for over 20 years, most of that time leading mergers and acquisitions for Pacific Telesis Group, a global telecommunications public company. Dana received a B.A. in Sociology from Wellesley College and a J.D. from Harvard Law School and is on the board of the Joffrey Ballet and Ministry Brands, a software company.
